It's no secret, my house is DARK! There are lots of windows but between tons of massive trees, a four foot roof overhang, and a large screen porch on the back there just simply is not enough natural light coming into this house. If I had the cash I would add skylights into my living room like yesterday but that is just not in the budget right now!
So, as I sit here in this dimly lit room I find myself pinning tons of light bright spaces. Here are a few of my favorites.

i know what you mean, i love the bright clean look of sunlight pouring in the windows...but on the plus side, you probably save on electric bills because the shade keeps your house cool!
